About the Guide:

The guide will be updated always, since softnyx always releases more updates
for the game, so I'll have to keep updating and releasing new versions.
The guide is complete, I'll only have to add and review the stuff softnyx add
into the game.

a) About WolfTeam
-----------------

WolfTeam is an massive multiplayer online first-person shooter (MMOFPS),
made by softnyx (The same guys who made Rakion and Gunbound).
This is not any kind of FPS where you bust in and kill anything on your
way including civilians. This is tactical FPS, where your
next step could be your last one...that...until you respawn.
Even more stuff! There is over 50+ weapons to choose classic,
modern and high-tech!
Including: Rifles, Snipers, Sub-Machine Guns, Pistols, Shotguns
and even Rocket Launchers!
On the top of that, you can mutate into a wolf that can slash and hack
other players! Interested in playing? Well, first let's see if your
computer can stand the challenge of running WolfTeam.

b) Your Sistem
--------------

To run Wolfteam, your computer must be strong, having the minimum
requierments of:

Operating System: Windows 98 or newer
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 1.8 GHz or higher
RAM: 512 MB or more
Graphic Card: Geforce 5700 or higher
Disk Space: 400 MB or higher
DirectX Version: 9.0c or higher
Internet Connection: Higher than 256 kbps

If you have these stats on your computer, you can barely run WolfTeam,
although softnyx highly recommends these stats:

Operating System: Windows XP or newer
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.2 GHz or higher
RAM: 512 MB or more
Graphic Card: Geforce 6800 or higher
Disk Space: 400 MB or higher
DirectX Version: 9.0c or higher
Internet Connection: Higher than 256 kbps

Once we have this we're ready to roll!

c) Download and Installation
----------------------------

Now, knowing that you have an internet connection and a softnyx account
(If you don't, don't worry, it's free to create, see Creating a softnyx
account for more info)
enter the webpage of WolfTeam, that is http://wolfteam.softnyx.net/
Once there click the "DOWNLOAD" Tab in the bottom of the screen and press
"GO!" There scroll down until the "Client Download" section and click one
option.
I would recommend the first one but it's your choice.
Wait for the download to finish, if you have an Internet Srevice Provider (ISP)
of 1.5 Mbps, this will finish in 20 minutes or so.
Once it's done, run it and install it. Once done the installation, run the
Wolfteam icon that has appeared on your Desktop.
The softnyx Game Launcher will start, then press the tab WolfTeam
(There are 2 other tabs which are Gunbound and Rakion), if there are new
updates for the game the Launcher will download them and install them for you.
If there are no updates, you can start playing right away!
Enter your softnyx account and your password, and press START GAME or Enter.
If XTrap is not installed, it will be installed, you'll have to wait a
while for the installation.

d) Creating a softnyx Account
-----------------------------

In a case where you still don't have a softnyx account, you'll have to follow
these steps in order to create one.

1. At the WolfTeam main page, on the upper part, click "Registration".
2. You'll be transfered to the Terms of Service and User Agreement.
Read it if you wish, once you're done, check the checkbox and click
"Registration".
3. Then you'll have to enter your Login ID, that is the ID of your softnyx
Account. Enter your password twice (For security, type a hard to guess
password), then write your first and last names and your birthdate (WARNING:
Once you enter your birthdate, you can't change it).
Click your gender and type your e-mail twice. E-mail is needed to verify the
account in order to use it. Then enter your home address, city or state and
ZIP Code. If you want softnyx to mail you, write your address correctly
and put "Yes" in "Mail Lettering".
Then you'll have to verify that you're a human by typing the exact characters
from the box.
If you have an invitation coupon by softnyx, type the security code on the 3
boxes, if you don't, skip this step.
4. When you're done, click "OK". A letterbox with the text "Congratulations!"
will appear. This means your registration has been complete!
Now you can login and play in WolfTeam or other softnyx games.

e) Running WolfTeam and Starting to Play
----------------------------------------

Once the Xtrap is done your screen will go black, and start WolfTeam,
if the load is successful you will the softnyx logo on the screen, then the
WolfTeam main title.
If not...well check your computer for the right settings and re-check if you
can run WolfTeam.
Once you enter, you will see the servers. If it's your first time playing
WolfTeam, the game will ask you to input your call sign, this is
your character name.
Once it's done, you can select a server and start playing!

WolfTeam isn't different from your classic PC first-person shooter, but i'll
explain them anyway.

--------------

Wolf Points are your in-game currency to use weapons, don't confuse them with
gold.

You get WP for:

-Killing as a Wolf
-Killing the enemy from behind (Called Snake Attack)
-Killing your rivals
-Making a Headshot

For every kill, you get a Wolf Rank, that is the killing spree, the more kills
you do without dying, the more WP you get at once.
It starts from Baby Wolf and it finishes in Perfect Wolf.
It repeats in Perfect Wolf until you die.
You can hold a maximum of 2500 WP in the game.

6) Game Modes [GMDCH6]

____________________________________

Here we'll see the game modes on WolfTeam, there are 5 modes for now:

a) Deathmatch
-------------

Classic deathmatch, red versus blue, sound much like Counter-Strike, eh?
The big difference is...YOU RESPAWN ALWAYS, no after round respawn, get killed
and keep gunnin'! Cool, eh?
You can make it a point match or a time match. The team with most points win.

b) Destruction
--------------

Go KA-BOOM in this one! Red team arms the bomb and protects it from the blues
to defuse it.
If bomb blows up, red team wins the round, if the bomb is defused,
blue team wins.
If a team kills the other team before the bomb is planted, the killed team
loses.
If red team plants the bomb and blue team kills everyone in red team, blue
team still has to defuse the bomb to win.

c) Conquest
-----------

There are 5 bases layed out on the map, which you must conquer by staying
close to it until the bar fills, go with your team to conquer the same base to
fill the bar faster.
Your inventory is normal, your 2 weapons, grenades and wolf mutation.
Who has more bases win.

d) Wolf Conquest
----------------

Same as conquest, the difference is that red team takes the role of humans
and the blue team takes the role of wolves. For humans, your melee weapon
is a CQC Knife.
For wolves you can choose various types of wolves which I'll explain later on.
Here's an extra weapon set fot humans to choose: A turret!

e) EX-Conquest
--------------

A mix-up of COnquest and Wolf Conquest! Here you can choose or your weapon
sets or a wolf mutation, as usual, more bases win at the end of the round.

In WolfTeam they're called Pride.
When you're in a pride, you can get a lot of benefits, even if not playing!
A pride is made of 31 members plus the master, making 32 persons in a pride.
The prides are divided in 6 grades, which changes depending on their
reputation.
You can make your pride famous if you win in the Pride Battle Server.

a) Benefits and Obligations
---------------------------

1. If you fight in the Pride Battle Server and win, your Pride reputation will
go up, and every month, you'll win prizes!
2. The chain system lets you work together with your team and earn extra GP
and Gold!
3. You can do missions for your pride, and win Gold and even weapons.

b) Creating a Pride

Main Lobby.
Inside, you'll see some explanation of what's a pride.

Now enter your pride name, it may not exceed 16 characters and no special
characters must be on it.
Done? Ok, press "Ok".
Now you must put a domain adress to create a custom webpage in
wolfteam.softnyx.net/pride/ for you to manage. Don't you worry, it's still
free.
Once done, click "Ok".
Click "Ok" again and you'll be returned to the Main Lobby.
Click the "Pride" tab to check out your pride!

c) Accept people in your Pride

Then press the "Applicant" tab.
There you can approve or reject players who want to join your pride.

the name of the master of a pride and a list will appear.
Click "Go" on the pride you wish to see.

f) Pride Missions
-----------------

softnyx hasn't released yet any pride missions, so I can't explain them
at these moments.
When they are released, I'll update the guide including these missions on it.

g) Pride Battle Server
----------------------

In this special server you can make matches to other Prides. To enter you must
have a Pride or be part of one.
Once you enter, you can create a room for other prides to join, or you can
join a room where a pride is waiting for battle.
You can enter a room when only a Pride name is displayed.
Example, if the room is named: "MahPridePwns" you can enter it.
Once you enter, your Pride name will be renamed on the room.
Example, your pride name is "WePwnN00bs", the room will be
renamed: "MahPridePwns vs WePwnN00bs".
Therefore, your pride members will be able to recognize the room and enter
to fight the battle for the Pride.
You can choose any mode but the scores are fixed to the maximum.
As you win, you'll pride will win pride reputation points and every month
you'll recieve a prize depending on the reputation.

____________________________________

Here we'll see lots of stuff that can help you to play better in WolfTeam and
get your rank higher quickly.

a) Rules for saving you from being a jerk in WolfTeam
-----------------------------------------------------

Lots of people do stuff online that deserve to be called jerks, so here I'll
mention some stuff that will help you not to be one of these,
decent players exist ya'know.

-Don't say "wtf", "omg" or "omfg" everyone someone kills you,
players think that you think that you're the best and you shouldn't be killed
because you think you're good, you become obnoxious to them and
subsecuently, a jerk.

-Don't scream "LAGGER!" everytime they kill you unless it's necessary,
the reason?
Same as above, players think that you think you're the best.
Only say it when a real lag moment happens, like when you're about to
Snake Attack someone, and suddently you get killed and that player you were
about to Snake Attack is behind you.

-Don't call someone "noob" only because he killed you with a strong weapon,
with luck, sniped on you or camped on you.
You can only call people "noob" when they hack or they insult people for no
reason.

-DO NOT, BUT DO NOT use hacks in game, you know why?
3 reasons:
1. You are violating the sanctity of a fair online game.
2. You ARE gonna get reported by players, and the GMs WILL do something about
it, so don't cry if your account has been banned. You asked for it.
3. You're being a noob hacker and a jerk yourself.
People will insult you, and they'll have a reason.

If you're gonna hack, better think again, and if your hard-headed,
well...I warned you.

-Don't beg to join in a pride, if they don't want to accept you, they don't,
you'll look like a poor noob begging to be in a pride, register, and if you
can't, find another pride.

-Don't flood pro players to your buddy list, because then you'll only ask
them for weapons.
If you want to add a friend, meet them in battle and if you get well with
them, well, ask them to be buddies.

-Don't scam, there are few newbs that fall for it, but for your sake, don't.

-Realize that us high rankers don't use hacks to win, we occasionally miss
shots and have bad days. We're human, ya'know.

-Don't yell "jajajajaja", "lol", "rofl" or "lmao" every second, it's annoying.

-Don't insult people only because they killed you, you're on the opposite team
and you have to get killed sooner or later.

-Don't whine about sniping, it's a legit strategy.

-Don't call people "jew" because they killed you, I know people that call other
players jews only because they get killed.

-Don't insult your team-mates in-game because they made a wrong move,
you're not perfect, neither are them, people make mistakes.

-Don't whine about being naded, it's totally legit.

-Don't say the "H" word. See section "d" for more info.

-Don't whine about Rocket Launchers. Why you think it's in the game?

-Don't glitch, what?! You too noob to defeat someone?!

b) Battle Tips
--------------

Now that we've seen how not to be a jerk in WolfTeam, people might respect
you for being one of the few decent players on the world.
Now we'll see some tips about how to improve your game and battle strategies.

-Use grenades, they're the most powerful weapon in your inventory,
a well-placed grenade will kill an enemy or at least lower him 170 HP.
This is called nading.

-Crouch or walk, these increase a lot your accuracy and thus, reducing
the size of your crosshair for more accurate shots.

-Primary over Secundary, this is for people who have their heart in
Counter-Strike: THIS IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT! The pistol hasn't much fire rate
as pistols in Counter-Strike, and they aren't strong too.
Use a pistol only if: You're out of primary ammo or if you're trying to make
a precise headshot.

-In gunfight, when you're out of your primary magazine ammo, quickly switch
to your pistol and start shooting, almost all noobs wait for their primary
weapon to reload and take cover, when they don't realize that their pistol
is ready to be used.
So use this to your advantage to take out your enemies, when you're done,
first reload your primary weapon, since you don't know that your next enemy
may be at the corner.

-If you see a wolf far from you, don't transform and slash him, shoot him
instead, he'll take some time to get you, since the wolf only slashes.
This may give you the chance to kill him.

-If you see a wolf running close to you, don't fight it with weapons,
unless he has low health and you know how to do headshots, otherwise,
transform into a wolf and start slashing him as fast as you can.

-If you see a human close to you, transform into a wolf and slash him,
almost always 2 slashes or a jump slash are enough to kill a human.

-If you see a human far from you, crouch and shoot him on the head,
he'll try to do the same thing if he sees you.

-Try to camp once in a while, to camp is to wait for an enemy to appear
in your view while he doesn't realize you're there, and then shoot him to death.
People will hate you for doing this, but these are easy kills.

-Try base camping too, this means to go where your enemies respawn, wait for
them to appear and as a human or a wolf, kill them.

-If you have a sniper, abuse of it, the snipers do devastating damage and you
can pick off your enemies from quite a range.

-To protect against a grenade, as a human you'll probably get killed, so when
the grenade flies into you, quickly transform into a wolf, and you'll survive
the blow because the wolf shields take the damage.
If your wolf shields are down, you'll get killed.

-As a wolf, your shields will go down as the time passes, so howl every once
in a while to keep your shields up.

-If you finished a wolf fight, howl to recharge your shields, who knows when
you'll get into a wolf fight again.

-The knife is a powerful weapon, the hard slash especially, one hard slash
kills humans. Don't attempt to use in wolves, they'll just slash you to death.
Use the knife in places where players are camping, sneak behind them and hard
slash em'.
This is a 100% 1 hit kill. And it's funny when you kill someone with a knife.

-You'll know that when you hit someone close to the head but it's not a
headshot, a lot of blood will spill from his head.

-When using a sniper rifle, use the "Q Trick". This means, equip your pistol,
then your sniper rifle, shoot once, then press Q twice, you'll re-draw your
sniper without the need to eject the bullet. Like the draw animation from the
snipers is faster than the bullet ejection animation, you'll be able to shoot
faster with your sniper rifle. If you have problems pressing Q twice, like
flinching or not pressing it fast enough, press 2, then 1 instead with two of
your fingers.

-Spawn Camp is great too, although people will hate you for doing it.
It consists of camping where your enemies respawn, wait for the spawnshield
go off, and kill them. It racks up points easily.

-Use weapon recoil at your advantage. Like the recoil makes your weapon walk
up, try aiming not at the head, at the chest, sooner or later the recoil will
make your crosshair move to the head, thus making a headshot.

-Don't be like certain idiots players who in Wolf Conquest or EX-Conquest go
it alone. It's better to overwhelm your enemy by going in a group.

c) Starting Weapons
-------------------

If you're new to WolfTeam, softnyx will give you 4 weapons for you to use in
your sets for a certain time, and these are:

-ESA-80 BT
-MEC-11
-EM-4 ST
-EF-2000 Rookie Only
-STOUT T
-EXM-26 Rookie Only
-Mass Grenade
-Smoke Grenade

Once the time has passed, you'll have to buy the weapon if you wish to re-use
these weapons.
The weapons you'll have permanently are:

-EM-16 A2
-EM-92FS
-MK-5 G

d) Thinking before you say the "H" word
---------------------------------------

People have a tendency to yell the "H" word once in a while, and it's not the
word you're thinking...the word is "hacker".
A lot of players yell this word and they say that they'll report you, but
they don't.
Before you say the "H" word, think of these few things:

-If you shot someone with a sniper on the head, and they don't die, remember,
sometimes latency affect the placement of the shots.

-If you shot someone like 100 times and they're not dead yet, maybe you just
shot to the floor, wall or a lag decoy (this is when someone is walking but
not moving). You can only consider saying it when your killer has more than
63406 HP, moving too fast or some other stuff.

-If they shot you through a wall, and they appear from quite a distance, they
just found your hiding spot and shot you from the other side.

-If you saw someone move really fast, maybe the latency is affecting his
animation of transforming into a wolf or not even showing it at all.
You can prove this if the player has a black smoke coming out from him when
he starts to run fast.

-If they killed you, and you didn't kill them at the same time, you just missed
some shots, not always you must kill them 100%.

e) Communicating in WolfTeam
----------------------------

Well, if you're new to MMOG, you'll probably will have to learn the internet
slangs the players use. Well, since a lot of these include some swears, I'll
censor them! Feel free to use them in the game.

gg: Good Game

gl: Good Luck

gj: Good Job

gr: Good Round

omg: Oh My God

afk: Away From Keyboard

lol: Laugh Out Loud or Looser On Line

lmao: Laughing My A** Off

rofl: Rolling On the Floor Laughing

roflmao: Rolling On the Floor Laughing My A** Off

fck, fk, fawk: Pretty Obvious...

nt: Nice Try

ns: Nice Shot

nhs: Nice HeadShot

ty: Thank You

np: No Problem

ffs: For F*** Sake

tk: Type Kill

ks: Kill Steal

rl: Rocket Launcher

gtg: Got To Go

brb: Be Right Back

hax, haxor: Hack

Difference of Noob-Newb:

A lot of people think these 2 words are the same, but they're wrong, here's
why.

Noob means that you're a high experienced player, but you play really bad,
so when someone calls you noob it means that you don't know how to play
and that your rank is just a showoff. Prove them wrong.

Newb is short for Newbie, that means that you shouldn't get offended if you're
a new player and called a newb, he's saying what you are. A lot of newbs say
noob because they think it's the same thing. Now you know it's not.

f) Your Radio
-------------

Your radio is a very useful item, it helps you to communicate with your
teammates in a matter of seconds, here I'll cover how to use them and how to
respond.

Z Key:

1. Roger
2. Negative
3. Copy That
4. Go, Go, Go!
5. Thank You
6. My Bad
7. Awesome
8. Keep It Up
9. Damn It

X Key:

1. Charge To The Front
2. Dash In Wolf
3. Hold Position
4. Fall Back
5. Follow Me!
6. Stay Together
7. Silent
8. Cover Me!
9. Get In Position

C Key:

1. Report In
2. Enemy Spotted
3. Sector Clear
4. I Will Plant The Bomb
5. Plant The Bomb Quick!
6. To The Bomb Site
7. Turret!
8. Launchers!
9. Watch Out For Grenades

A lot of players don't use these radio messages, and they're doing a big
mistake, communication is the key of your survival, like that you can
discover the enemy's position to kill them before they kill you.
Here's how to use them and how to respond to them:

-Use the X Key commands to order other players to do something for you, such as
"Cover Me!" or "Stay Together". Players who use the radio will respond with:
"Roger", "Copy That" or "Negative" depending on their choice.

-Use the C Key commands to warn your team about hazards in the map, like
"Turret!" simply advises there's an enemy with a turret planted.

-Use the Z Key commands to respond to X or C commands.

-If someone says "Report In", you'll have to respond with "Enemy Spotted" or
"Sector Clear" depending on the situation. With this, your teammates can go
on your aid if you're in the middle of a gunfight.

-In Destruction mode, use a lot the C Key, especially with the bomb messages.
Messages like "I Will Plant The Bomb" will advise players, and the smart ones
will go and cover you while you're planting it.

-You can go on your own way if someone orders something by saying "Negative",
your team will know that you're alone in this one.

-If your team has a plan in order to defeat the other team, you can order them
by saying "Get In Position" and then "Hold Position", when you want to execute
your plan, you should say "Go, Go, Go!".

-If your team is gonna stick together, say so, or your team will just break up.

-If you're gonna go at it alone, you'd better have someone covering you, you
should let your team know who is gonna cover you and when.

Lots of players think that the radio system is useless, but...that is the key
for victory, a good communication. Try mastering it, like that your game will
become a lot easier.

g) A tiny class on peer-to-peer
-------------------------------

Lots of players think they don't lag at all and they have the right to call
laggers to all players who skip. The thing they don't know is that they might
be lagging.

The connection is simple, you upload your position on the game on the net, and
you download the position of all others in the game.
That means that if you're playing a 8 player game, you're downloading the
position of 7, let's say you have a bandwidth of 7000kbps.

7000/7: 1000kbps

You're downloading the position of other players at that speed.

You just upload your position once, it's up to the rest of the computers to
download your position.

Let's say that a player don't have enough bandwidth to download your position.
Like he doesn't have enough, he can't download well your position, and he sees
you skipping. He calls you lagger. If the other players can see you well,
you're not lagging, the other player is the lagger.

A lot of people confuse the lag with the meaning that the fastest download
speed has less ping. Well, it's a deeper process than that.

Still even, people don't understand the ping system. They ask the question:
"What's my ping?".
They think that if the other player has a high ping, he's a lagger.

Well, with this you'll know how the true ping system works.

In this case we have 4 players: Yoshi, Ryu, Caboose and Hikari.

Yoshi's screen:

Yoshi: 0ms
Ryu: 80ms
Caboose: 150ms
Hikari: 200ms

Ryu's screen:

Yoshi: 80ms
Ryu: 0ms
Caboose: 50ms
Hikari: 150ms

Caboose's screen:

Yoshi: 150ms
Ryu: 50ms
Caboose: 0ms
Hikari: 90ms

Hikari's screen:

Yoshi: 200ms
Ryu: 150ms
Caboose: 90ms
Hikari: 0ms

As you see, the ping isn't how much you lag, is the time which data travels
between 2 players. Yoshi's and Ryu's data exchange in 80ms, Caboose's and
Hikari's data exchanges in 90ms. Yoshi's and Caboose's data exchange in 150ms
and Ryu's and Hikari's data exchanges in 150ms.

Your call sign doesn't have a ping, because you can't send data to yourself in
an online game.

These are examples. There are factors that affect your ping:

1-Connection Speed:
The speed you send and download data. I explained this above.

2-Location:
If 2 players are far from others, the time which data will travel WILL be
longer, normally lag is majorly affected by this.

3-Other Stuff:
These other stuff can be your firewall or a proxy server, even your firewall
can block your port so you are unable to send or recieve anything. Remember
to unblock the port before playing WolfTeam!

So the question "What's my ping?", only demonstrates that you don't have any
idea of how the ping system works. Now that you know, maybe you'll reconsider
of calling other people lagger. It's natural, because it's an online game, and
you play with people AROUND THE WORLD.

With that, we finish our class.

Dismissed.

10) Meet the Wolves [MWCH10]

____________________________________

Now it's time to see all the types of wolves there are in WolfTeam, I'll
explain each one, pros and cons and some extra stuff. You can use the Normal
Wolf in all modes, the Power, Guardian and Ghost Wolves in certain
Conquest modes and Smart and Beserker Wolves if you meet certain requierments.
See the Shop EX-Items section for more.

a) Normal Wolf
--------------

HP: 200
Wolf Shield: 100
Power: Normal
Howl: Normal
Speed: Normal
Special Ability: None
Penalty in Using: +50 WP (Penalty?)

Your normal type of wolf, the one you get in deathmatches. Well balanced,
this is a good choice for learning how to use a wolf.

b) Power Wolf
-------------

HP: 260
Wolf Shield: 100
Power: High
Howl: High
Speed: Normal
Special Ability: None
Penalty in Using: -250 WP

A more powerful type of Normal Wolf, in appereance it's the same.
A good choice if you're used to the Normal Wolf.

c) Guardian Wolf
----------------

HP: 800
Wolf Shield: 150
Power: Extreme
Howl: Extreme
Speed: Slow
Special Ability: Block
Penalty in Using: -500 WP

Want a bodyguard? This is an exaggeration.
It has a lot of health to sustain damage and it's power will take out anything.
Even more! You can activate his ability to block damage by holding the right
click, it will cut any damage made to this wolf in 50%! Only bad thing,
it's slow.

d) Ghost Wolf
-------------

HP: 200
Wolf Shield: 50
Power: High
Howl: Normal
Speed: Fast
Special Ability: Invisibility
Penalty in Using: -600 WP

A fast wolf has arrived! Strong power and high speed, it's a nice wolf we have
here!
But, wait, if you stand still in a place, it will start to vanish!
Unless you're shot, this wolf is the ultimate stealth assasinator.

e) Smart Wolf
-------------

HP: 200
Wolf Shield: Maximum of 300
Power: Normal
Howl: Suckish
Speed: Fast
Special Ability: Health Suction
Penalty in Using: -250 WP to -450 WP
Special Requierments to Use: Have shop item to use.

This wolf is a very powerful wolf, reasons?
First of all, it's quick in every aspect, making jump slashes unavoidable.
Second, like it's quick, bullets are hard to hit it.
And third, for every slash it does, 20 points goes to it's wolf shield,
making a maximum of 300. You can even slash dead opponents for Shield.
Although it's a bit unfair, since players with no access to this wolf
are in disadvantage.
The way to defeat this wolf is: Like the Smart Wolf has a real bad defense and
HP, use a wolf with a high power. With some slashes, it should be dead real
soon.

f) Berseker Wolf
----------------

HP: 260
Wolf Shield: 100
Power: You can't find power more than this one.
Howl: Normal
Speed: Normal
Special Ability: Self-Destruction
Penalty in Using: -400 WP to -1200 WP
Special Requierments to Use: Have shop item to use.

This wolf is the man, in a manner of speaking.
He has 2 long-range, sharp blades on his right arm that makes a 1 hit kill
for all humans.
Second, if you have like 5 HP left, you can self-destruct, hold the right
click and the wolf will start creating a ball of fire, wait like 2 seconds,
then let it go, and the wolf will create a ray of fire, and all players in
front of it will die. And you'll die too.

g) Ghost-2 Wolf
---------------

HP: 200
Wolf Shield: 50
Power: High
Howl: Normal
Speed: Fast
Special Ability: Invisibility
Penalty in Using: -700 WP
Special Requierments to Use: Have shop item to use.

Well, another Ghost Wolf! But it seems that this one has a trick, it's
reversed! When you respawn, the Ghost-2 Wolf appears semi-transparent, and as
you kill players, you'll become more invisible, but beware, stay in one place
without killing, and you'll lose your powers.
Use this to do a running killing spree! Enemies can't see you when you move.
There's no way to make it totally invisible, softnyx thought it was unfair.
The highest invisibility level is a silhouette of the wolf, although some sharp
eye players are able to see it.

11) Shop [SHCH11]

Have the Gold to buy some stuff? Then come on in!
First of all, I'll explain you The 2 currencies there are in WolfTeam:
Gold and Cash.

a) Gold
-------

This is the in-game money you make while you play, the better you play,
the more gold you get at the end of the round.
You usually need a lot of gold to buy weapons for a long time. A big amount
of Gold is like 500,000 Gold.

b) Cash
-------

softnyx has implanted this method in order to gain money, you pay REAL-WORLD
MONEY in trade of Cash points in-game, you need little cash to buy even the
strongest of weapons.
Before a mayor update in the game, players could charge Cash illegally into
their accounts by making fake transactions, now that softnyx has repaired this
big problem, all transactions must be legit in order to charge Cash into your
account.

Now that we've seen the 2 currencies, I'll skip the weapons to the weapons
section and explain about items in the shop.

c) EX-Items

To use, on the Weapon or Wolf Selection Screen, hold the Shift key, an extra
menu with these 2 wolves will appear.

The Plus Combo and Reduce Respawn Time may be bought with an extra tattoo for
the same price. The tattoo effects are none.

Now that the EX-Items are done, we'll see the Weapon Packages!

The strongest shotgun in the game. It has higher range than the EM-3 P, but
each shot takes a longer time to pump and the reload is slower.

       7 days - 11,000 Gold
       30 days - 44,000 Gold
       90 days - 110,000 Gold

We've got an automatic shotgun! Great for quick shots if a wolf comes close.
Bad thing, it's recoil it's high. Good thing, it's light, so it won't slow
you down.

Seems we're done with shotguns...let's go to the next one: Snipers

III) Snipers
____________

Stealthy guns, high aim...

a) STOUT PT
-----------

Basic Weapon

Power: ****
Penetration: ****
Cyclic Rate: *

       30 days - 50,000 Gold
       90 days - 125,000 Gold

The STOUT is a normal sniper, not too good, nor bad. Normally the 90% of shots
land where you aim. The other 10% doesn't.

b) I-115 T
----------

Power: *****
Penetration: *****
Cyclic Rate: *
Accuracy: *****
Moving Accuracy: ***
Recoil: **
Range: ****
Mode: Bolt Action

Bullets per Magazine: 5
Reload Speed: Fast
WP Needed to Use: 600
Price: 1 day - 2,800 Gold
       7 days - 14,000 Gold
       30 days - 56,000 Gold
       90 days - 140,000 Gold

A real strong sniper, 1 shot ends it all. You really have to stay still in
order to make a shot to hit. It's heavy too, so it'll slow you down a bit.
My recommendation is to take out your pistol or grenade, and when you'll
shoot, take this beauty out.

c) EM-40 T
----------

Power: ****
Penetration: *****
Cyclic Rate: *
Accuracy: *****
Moving Accuracy: ****
Recoil: ***
Range: ****
Mode: Bolt Action

Extra Wolf Damage: +10

       7 days - 11,250 Gold
       30 days - 45,000 Gold
       90 days - 112,500 Gold

It's penetration capability let's you snipe...through walls!

Done with snipers, next...TURRETS!

IV) Turrets
___________

Total heavy weapons...with a darn good power...

a) EM-2 HB
----------

Power: ****

       30 days - 52,000 Gold
       90 days - 130,000 Gold

This turret has a good fire rate, power and accuracy, damn, this thing is
great! Bad thing, thanks to it's whooping weight, you'll move slower than
a turtle. Change to your pistol when you need to run. To prepare the turret,
press the right click. To fold it, press the right click again.

b) WT MG-1
----------

Power: ****
Penetration: ****

       30 days - 56,000 Gold
       90 days - 140,000 Gold

This is a better turret than the EM-2 HB, since it's stats are higher.
It costs more too. Same drill, right click to prepare and fold.
You'll move a bit faster too, it's lighter.

Done with the turrets...now it's time to release the explosives.

V) Explosive Launchers

A grenade launcher! w00t! It's semi-automatic capability lets you slam various
enemies in the same place launching various grenades. With 3 or 4 they should
be dead.

It has a destructive power and a high fire rate, but the bad thing is the
recoil, it has a high one. Don't use to battle players head-to-head.
Instead, use it to do precise shots from afar.

d) USF-40

Desert Eagle!!! Strongest pistol in the game, destructive firepower and
penetration, this can defeat even strongest of players. A bad thing, is that
it has the highest pistol recoil, making the crosshair go out of place for
each shot. Learn the recoil, and use it the best you can.

instead of the wolf mutation in all your human sets.

The Knife, trusty Knife...It has a real high power and cyclic rate (By this I
mean it slashes really fast). A quick slash lowers 60 HP and a strong slash
it's a 1-hit kill. Left click to quick slash and Right click to strong slash.
The strong slash takes a 1-second wind up. Sneak behind your enemies and slash
'em to death. Metal Gear Solid style, eh?

Those are all the weapons you'll find in WolfTeam, who knows? Maybe softnyx
will release more.

You have probably seen that each weapon has 4 upgrades. You can buy upgrades
at a price when you own the weapon. A few weapons don't have upgrades.
Here I'll explain all the upgrades for each weapon.
If you see a "+" after the ability of the weapon, it means that it will go up.
Same goes for "-", if you see that, the ability will go down.
If you see the "Enabled" tag, the weapon feature will be enabled.
Still same goes for the "Disabled" tag.

Having problems with WolfTeam? Check this section in order to resolve your
problems.

Q: My computer doesn't seem to run WolfTeam, what's wrong?

A: Check if your computer has the requierments to run it. If the requierments
are met, try closing other programs and let the computer cool down before
running it. WolfTeam takes a lot of power.

Q: When I open the softnyx Game Launcher, an error message saying
"Auto-Download failed. Try again later". What should I do?

A: Check if your internet connection is active. If it's active, it's a problem
with the server. Try it later.

Q: When I try to run WolfTeam, there's an error connection about the Xtrap...

A: Go to the WolfTeam page, go into Downloads and download the latest Xtrap.

Q: I can connect into games, but other players just stand still in the arena...

A: WolfTeam is a peer-to-peer connection game, that means all computers act as
servers and at the same time as clients. To resolve this, you must open some
ports in your firewall, these are: 40707 to 40718 TCP or UDP.
If you have an internal firewall in your router, get your instruction
booklet and open these ports in the internal firewall of your router.

Q: When I enter a room, an error message appears with the code C114...

A: This means that you can't connect with a player because his latency is too
high. Try in other rooms.

Q: Other players appear and disappear and appear in various places like
skipping...

A: Welcome to peer-to-peer connection. This is called latency, or lag.
The poor bandwidth of other players cause this. They can't connect so good
with other players that is hard for the system to locate their position.
