Each of your special powers has a cooldown period, during which it cannot
be used. In addition, each requires a certain amount of mana to activate 
- if your special attacks aren't working, that's why.


Powerup Or Else:

Each time you level up, you get to powerup - open your inventory screen
(the "I" key) to choose which power you want to increase.
